THROUGH INTRICATE 3D VISUALS AND DEEP CREATIVE DIRECTION, GENESIS LAID THE FRAMEWORK FOR HIS VISION TO BE FULLY REALIZED.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
THE CREATIVE DIRECTION TEAM IN THE NETHERLANDS COORDINATED VERY CLOSELY WITH GENESIS LABS TO ENSURE A 1 TO 1 REPLICA OF THE BIJLMERMEER WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FINAL SET DESIGN AND VISUAL PROJECTION TEAM.
PHOTOGRAPHY CREW AND DRONE PILOTS COVERED THE ENTIRE SPACE AND HI RES IMAGES WERE DELIVERED TO GENESIS LABS HQ IN THE US.
THOSE IMAGES WERE THEN USED TO CREATE ASSETS THAT WOULD BE APPLIED TO GIANT 3D REPLICAS OF THE BUILDING




3D PRODUCTION

DOWN TO THE SCREW GENESIS LABS SACRIFICED NOTHING IN THE DETAILS.
SINCE THE FINAL PROJECTIONS WOULD BE THE MAIN FOCAL PIECE TO THE SHOW IT WAS OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE THAT THE EXECUTION WAS OF THE UTMOST QUALITY.






3D VISUALIZATION
CREATING THE BASIC ASSETS ALLOWED THE TEAM TO GENERATE 30 UNIQUE 3D VISUALS THAT WOULD BE PROJECTED ONTO THE MASSIVE 3 STORY "STEALTH LEAD" LED WALLS WHERE CHO AND THE STAGE TEAM WOULD BE.
WE COORDINATED VERY CLOSLEY WITH THE CREATIVE TEAM AND CHOS STAGE MANAGER TO DIRECT THE VISUALS IN A WAY THAT WOULD PORTRAY A VISUAL NARRATIVE TO HIS SOUNDSCAPES.









SHOWTIME
With the visuals ready to go our Creative team flew out to Amsterdam to coordinate with the Netherlands team in ensuring the venue AFAS Live Production crew and the VJAY were up to speed with the way the execution and the emotion/pacing lined up with the creative direction that had been cooking for months.
Cho sold out both nights with over 16,000 people in total attendance.

Cho is still touring the Knock Knock experience in 2024 with no end in sight.




IN CONCLUSION
The Cho project was a testament in collaboration without boundaries and an incredible Creative feat of storytelling. Genesis Labs is proud to be a part of CHOs creative history. There is a full length documentary coming out late 2024, we shall update this page when it releases.
